BAPTISMS! BAPTISMS! BAPTISMS!

CRAZY We are already in August! Only 3 more months left! Time is flying! This week has been full of blessings and miracles! I was able to go on exchanges with my old companion! It was so fun! She is in a walking area so we walked and walked it was fun! Then on Thursday night my old companion called me and said that our "eternal investigators" Kikileen and Kohrner were getting married and baptized and that they were going to do it in our area so that i could be able to see! Oh my goodness i just screamed! It was like opening a big present! Then Saturday came and sure enough we were blessed to have our miracle baptism! She cried before and after she got baptized, she is literally the cutest girl ever! Then I was able to attend Kikileen and Kohrners baptism and wedding! Oh the best feeling ever! It was like seeing your own family change their lives and be baptized! I love being a missionary!

Then we received a referral from the Elders recent convert! We went and found her yesterday and holy ANOTHER prepared investigator! She was so cute at first she didn't really want us there it felt like then we shared with her about families and she just cried the entire time! She i s so cute! She has a rough life with her family, she is 17 yrs. old and has a 10 month old baby! Was so willing to let us come back! Oh it has just strengthened my testimony that there are those prepared people ready to hear the gospel!

Sorry this one is going to be short but i just want to say how grateful I am to be a missionary! I love b eing able to teach the Gospel! i know that there are prepared people out there to hear it! I am so grateful for each and everyone of you and all of your support! Have a great week!

Prepared people are very real

Hey everyone how was your week? This week has been great! We literally have been handed a prepared investigator her name is Judyleen! She is 14! Her mom is the Relief Society President, so she just barley moved back with her mom, every time we wold teach her she would pray to be able to be baptized and to join the church! And we have only been teaching her for a week! So I said Sister Russell she is prepared she has been to church already and this week will be her third I was like we can have a baptism this month! Heavenly Father is blessing us! She then told me that she didn't want to rush her and I just said if she feels like she is ready then lets let her when she says and if shes not supposed to then Heavenly Father will stop it from Happening! So we invited her and she said the 29th! Holy i was shocked! SO that is what were doing were just gonna go with it until Heavenly father stops it! We asked her to start reading the Book of Mormon and the next morning we went back she told us that she stayed up until 2 A.M. reading and she was already in 2 Nephi 31 (The Pohnpeian Book of Mormon isn't translated all the way but still!!) She is so awesome! She carries her Book of Mormon everywhere!

On a funny note for the week, Sister Russell gave one of our member present Takis, she only ate one and she was dying! She just kept gasping for air haha she told Sister Russell "Sister Russell, its like your killing myself!" Oh man she never will speak English to us but she did that time and it was what made it 10x's funnier! We went to the investigators house and she just drank water for probably 30 seconds straight! haha it was so funny! Another funny note, We received 6 plates of food from some members on Saturday from a missionary's homecoming! We sat down to eat as were eating we get to the chicken and we both say i don't think this is done all the way but jokingly i say oh well i guess well find out tomorrow! Ha well Sunday morning came and sure enough the Chicken wasn't done or something else wasn't because we sure didn't feel good when we got up so all in all not much proselyting was able to get done on Sunday!

Ha well I hope you all have a great week! Thanks for all the love and support! Love an miss you all!

A week full of laughs and blessings!

Hey everyone! I hope you all have had a great week and remembered to count your blessings! This week has been an amazing week! We have been blessed so much! I don't really know how to write out our week so ill just go day by day!

Monday: We had a family home evening with a part member family! It was right after we had just flown back from Guam so my ear was plugged so i was def in one ear ha everyone was laughing and it was just like as if i were at home!

Tuesday: We had interviews with President Poston and man i will tell you what that man, he is a man of God, he is so in tune to the spirit! He brings such a special spirit with him where ever he goes!

Wednesday: Since President Poston was in town we had Zone Conference, and man it was like a come to Jesus meeting! Haha after the meeting Sister Russell and I both felt the same way so we did a little fine tuning and began our fast for the work! (Fasting really works!)

Thursday: Haha now this was the day! We found 5 NEW INVESTIGATORS! We went to have a lesson with one of our investigators and she walks out in clothes that are all "sexy" as Sister Russell would say and so i ask her where she was going and then Sister Russell looks and me and just starts laughing hahah lets just say my outfit was not how it should have been and if i were home that would have been really embarrassing! Haha so once again everyone got a good laugh! Then we went to the next lesson! And cockroaches were flying everywhere in the light so i moved to the dark thinking that they wouldn't come to me, well i was totally wrong! 5! 5 Cockroaches running all over me! I let out a few screams as one ran in my shirt, another in my hair and 3 on the outside of my skirt and shirt! Haha now you can only imagine how i felt! Then we went home for the night and there was no water so we had to go and try and fix it! So Sister Russell climbs up to our water tank and sees that there is no water so she turns around and falls right on her bum! Oh man we were dying!

Friday: We were able to find a man named June Dadius! From the family that i have been teaching in Uh! So that was really cool he seems way receptive to the gospel so I am excited to begin teaching him!

Saturday: We had a lesson with a little 12 yr. old member and she told us how hard it was for her to go to church because every time she went she would get sad because would see everyone with their families and she would be all alone because she is the only member in her family! Man who would have ever thought that a 12 yr. old girl could have made me cry! We promised her that if she would bear her testimony to her family after our lesson they would join her at church tomorrow! And you'll never guess!

Sunday: Maytu's family came to church! We had 4 of our investigators at church! We were able to watch the 17 miracles with the ward for a fire side! It was such a cool experience!

SO overall it was a great week! Time is flying by! My testimony is growing everyday! I am so grateful for this gospel! I am so grateful for all the blessings it brings! I know that it is only through this gospel that we can be with our families for ever! I am so grateful for my family and all that they do for me! I am so blessed to have the family that I have! I am so grateful for each and every one of you and all the love and support that you give me! I hope you all have a great week! And always remember that God is always aware of you 2 Nephi 9:20!

Say Hello to President Poston!!

Hey everyone! This week was another crazy one! I ended up packing a bag and went to Guam for MLC this weekend! And then on Saturday Sister Russell came! Guam... wow can i tell you what Guam is literally amazing, KFC, McDonald's, Clean water, hot water! It was great! We were able to meet our new mission president, President Poston and Sister Poston! They are so sweet and nice! I can tel you what they have so much faith and trust in our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ!

I am really sorry this letter is going to be short because i am having a hard time focusing and stuff so heres a little bit about what happend over the weekend! We were blessed with an amazing new mission president and his adorable wife! We really learned alot about being a sacrificing missionary and being a consecrated missionary! And man those talks always just make you feel like your not doing good enough but one thing that President Poston said that is now stuck in my head, he said "there are those of us who are righteous and are doing everything right, were praying, reading, repenting, but were doing one thing wrong, were okay with being 'Good Enough' everything we do we say 'Eh thats good enough' when in reality we always need to be looking for ways to become better." So there is just a little thought for the week! I will send lots of pictures to make up for the short letter!

Thanks for all of your love and support! Have a great week! Love you all!

Finger lickin good!

Holy weeks are Flyin bye!!

Holy another week down! Time is going by so fast! There is not enough time in a day to get anything done! This week was crazy busy, we are still covering two areas but yesterday was the last day because Sister James companion is coming today! Wahoo!!   Then we can actually focus on our area!  We have some awesome investigators in Meishiou! We are teaching this less active family( Alex Family) the dad was drunk one night before i came to the area and chased Sister Russell and her old companion throwing rocks at them and youll never guess what!!!  He was sitting in church yesterday with his wife and kids!! Oh man its m absolute favorite seeing Less-active coming back to chutch!!  It is really different serving in a ward now!  Its like I don;t ever have to do anything, I just make sure my investigators get to church!  No having to teach any classes!  But I miss Uh Branch with my whole heart!  I miss all my families in Uh! But on the bright side my new ward has sports night! SOO I get to play volleyball and basketball almost every night during dinner!  HAHA okay another story about the Alex Family!  We were having a lesson with the mom and it was a really good lesson! The spirit was to there and so was this really huge bug that I have never seen before! It flew and landed right in front of me so i moved a little bit to the side so it could do its thing and i wouldn't have to worry about it!!  But nope the thing decide to flu and land on my lap!! I stood up and kinda screamed a little bit!  oh man everyone was laughing haha i felt pretty bac i pushed the spirit away!! Ha so the mom came to church and she goes...look what i brought with me and tried to act like she had the bug! Oh man I'll get teased forever!! Anyways i hope you all a great week! Thank you for all your love, support and prayers!  On the spiritual note if you have time go and read 1Nephi 17:3 &13!

Love you all! Have a great week!!
