Heavenly Father really does love us!

Hey Everyone! This week was pretty crazy! It started off by being on exchanges, Sister Russell and I got a call saying that her companion was going to Guam because she was so sick and she had to pack all of her stuff and be to the air port in 2 hours! So we had to hurry and run back to their house, get her companion packed and off tho the air port! After she left we were in a trio for the rest of the week working in both areas! It was kinda rough to see people! But it was fun! Lots of laughs and learning from each other!

Yesterday was when everything got shook up!  We went to church and were blessed to have 58 people at church and 5 investigators! It was insane! As we were sitting in church I just felt like i was going to be leaving! I just felt like i had done what i needed to in the Uh Branch! That the Branch was now going on its own!  We went proselyting and our very last lesson we had with Kikileen and Kohrner (eternal investigatos) Oh man i love them with my whole heart! We started the lesson by singing I am a Child of God and that then i just got really sad because i knew this was going to be my last lesson being "their" missionary! I didn't realize how true it is you will get tired of doing something for a long time but then when the time comes to leave you will not want to leave!
So here it is..I'M GETTING TRANSFERRED!....to Mesihsou! My new companion will be Sister Russell! Heavenly Father really does answer prayers!  I am so sad to be leaving the Uh area! I can definitely say that this place has changed me! I am excited to have a new start and be with Sister Russell! We have been with each other since the day we stepped on to Pohnpei and now we actually get to be companions! #Blessed!

I just want to say enjoy the things that seem hard, boring, fun, trying, and tiring because before you know it change will come and when it comes you wont want it to! But thats just when you have to look back at all the things you have learned, experienced and how far you have come and COUNT YOUR MANY BLESSINGS! I am so grateful for everyone that I met in the Uh area! They have taught me so much and they will for ever have a place in my heart!

Thank you for all your love and support I hope you all have a great week!

Keep praying don't stop!!

Hey! Another week down! This week has been a good week! We have been busy working with a bunch of less actives and have had great success! Seems every less active we teach has become less active because they stopped reading their Book of Mormon! So DONT STOP!
We were teaching one of our investigators and after the lesson my planner got passed around it has a picture of me and all my sisters on it and man they just love it! Ha they were like "Sister Bowers ke rei rei duwete nih!"  Which means Sister Bowers your as tall as a coconut tree! ha they all thought it was pretty funny!
This week we were having a lesson with a less active and her family and we were just getting ready to say the closing prayer and this drunk guy walks up playing music really loud! And then sits down right next to me and shuts it off! I kinda got scared not gonna lie but i was called on to say the closing prayer, as soon as i started praying on came the music swearing all! All i could think was KEEP PRAYING DON'T STOP! I ended the prayer and the moment i ended the prayer he left. Yes he was drunk. My testimony grew so much that day of about how powerful Satan is! He wants us to do things to break commandments so that he can take control of our lives for a few hours! It was crazy to see how hard Satan works to destroy the work!
Any ways Satan is real! So keep doing the little things because those are the things
that matter most! Have a great week! Love you all!!

Don't you wish you were in Pohnpei!

Sister Bowers with her mission President and Sister Zarbock
Hey everyone! I thought I would share some funny experiences that i feel like would only happen in this mission..

1. We were having a lesson with one of our investigators Jessica and right in the middle of the lesson all the kids start laughing and screaming and they just start saying "Pek, Seri pek!" Which means "Poop, the kid pooped!" Haha oh man you probably dont know but kids here just run around naked and just go to the bathroom were ever. So there we sat in the Nahs and i turn around and sure enough there was poop on the floor haha!

2. Sat down and had a lesson with one of our members wives and then looked down at my legs and everywhere there were ants just running! Tinny ants and they are so fast haha so i just said what ever and taught a lesson with ants all over me!

3. Our house hasn't had water for a couple days so we have a really big tank that we have to go and scoop water out for the toilet, or there is some running water out side the house that is dirty that we could use so we showered with that water for a few showers and then Sunday morning came ahah we didn't really know how we were gonna shower and then right as soon as we woke up it started to down pour! So you can only guessed! We grabbed our Pompeian skirts and showered in the rain! #WhatABlessing

Want a ride to church?  We love these people.

4.Thursday morning at 1:30 am i got up to go to the bath room and its always a battle between you and the cockroaches, you have to prepare your self to jump so they dont run on you when you turn on the light aha well i didn't prepare my self and i turned on the light and sure enough you can only guess, yep! The cockroach went straight up my leg! haha and you can only imagine what word i said! HAHA Yes i repented!  :)

Haha oh the experiences you have on missions! I just want you all to know how grateful i am to be on this mission and to be in the Micronesia Guam Mission! I have learned more than i ever could have! They always say you learn things on your mission that it would have taken you 40 years to learn without a mission! All i can say is i believe it! I have learned so much! I have hit rock bottom and some how manage to bounce right back up! So my advice to anyone who is thinking about going on a mission..DO IT. Its going to be the hardest, funnest, craziest, trying, scariest, happiest, most spiritual, thing you could ever do! So DO IT! It is the most rewarding thing! I am so grateful for this gospel i love it with my whole heart! Have a great week! Love you all! Thanks for all the love, support and Prayers!
