| Sister Bowers and Sister Tuevi |
SOOOOO I am training a 31 Yr. old! How crazy! It very
different from my last companion! Her name is Sister Tuevi. She is from
Kiripati! She is so quiet an never talks! Her English is good! but i have to
speak really slow for her to understand! So when ever we go out proselyting i
take advantage and talk to everyone even though i may not know the language! I
Just need to talk to people! It has been so awesome to see how the gift of
tongues works! I know quite a bit of pohnpeian i guess you could say, but when
you have a companion who doesn't know any its just you and the lord! This week
we did a lot of walking and finding and during that time i would talk to the
people they would reply back but i would know the words they were saying but
through Heavenly Fathers help i understood what they were meaning to say!
Speaking of not knowing the language! We were having a branch meeting and the
pres. asked us how we could help get the members to church on time so i reply
back in pohnpeian with the help of one of the members and everyone laughed! I
ended up saying i would go and beat the members to help them wake up! haha all
because i pronounced a word wrong! haha but no worries we all got back on the
same page! I cannot express how grateful i am for all of the prayers! and
